Like SO many, we feel helpless watching the utter devastation the war on Ukraine is wreaking. We wanted to do something, however small, to help the Ukrainian refugees so have donated £10,000 to the British Red Cross who are working tirelessly to respond to people’s needs. We will continue to do what we can as a business to support this horrific humanitarian crisis.

In 2021, we collaborated with the fabulous interior designer Camilla Guinness, with 10% of the sales from her limited edition collection going to Create. Charity of the year in 2020, Create aims to empower lives, reduce loneliness, and enhance wellbeing through the creative arts touching the lives of young and old across the UK.

Asked to design her ultimate cashmere polo neck jumper, Camilla’s flawless attention to detail created the PERFECT colour block polo, with its stunning shape, perfect length and two unique colourways.

We collaborated with the innately stylish British actress Kristin Scott Thomas who designed a two-piece collection with 10% of the sales going to The Prince’s Trust, a charity Kristin personally choose.

The two unique designs were dream Winter wardrobe pieces Kristin had never been able to find elsewhere, with Brora bringing these to life in two totally new designs. Both the fabulous Fair Isle gilet and subtly ruffle-necked cashmere dress reflect Kristin’s personal style and natural elegance, her love of comfort and her long-standing patronage of Brora.

We are thrilled to announce our latest charity collaboration with War Child, whose tireless, on-the-ground work continues to change the lives of children globally impacted by war and conflict.

A huge hug of a scarf, our limited edition cashmere scarf emblazoned with the word ‘LOVE’ was made in one of the oldest mills in Scotland using only the very finest cashmere. A cause close to Brora’s heart, 10% from the sale of each scarf was donated to War Child in their 2021 mission to eliminate child labour.

Wear your scarf with pride and #LOVE4WarChild.

Through selling our Liberty print cotton face masks, we have now raised over £300,000! We are delighted to be able to help so many and a BIG thank you to all our customers who have bought a face mask or two! With a new collection of prints, we hope to raise even more, the sky’s the limit!

We collaborated with gorgeous model and sustainability advocate Amelia Windsor who designed a capsule collection with 10% of the sales going to Blue Marine Foundation, a charity for ocean preservation.

This ocean-inspired collection paid homage to Amelia’s love of the sea and raised awareness for the necessity of ocean preservation and marine conservation. As advocates of slow fashion, the collaboration with Amelia was a meeting of minds as well as aesthetics.
