During the first two weeks of May, Brora will be donating 10% from the sales of all items that feature the colour green to the Conservation Collective, which supports an array of environmental initiatives worldwide. The Collective aims to protect the environment, restore nature and safeguard against climate change.

We will donate half of the funds raised to the Conservation Collective as a whole, and the remaining funds we will give to one particular foundation, which the Collective supports: the Highlands and Islands Environment Foundation.

About The Conservation Collective

The Conservation Collective helps set up, incubate, and support a range of local foundations across the globe. They aid these 'collective' groups of individuals who work tirelessly to protect the places they know and love from environmental crises, biodiversity loss, and climate change. In most circumstances, the communities most affected by the issues are often best placed to tackle them. So far, the Collective has raised £6.5 million to support a range of causes and help preserve some of the planet's most important habitats.

About The Highlands & Islands Environment Foundation

The Scottish Highlands and Islands are home to some of the most stunning landscapes in the country and a whole host of crucial ecosystems filled with a diverse range of flora and fauna.

The HIEF is committed to protecting and restoring the natural beauty, biodiversity, and the different ecosystems of this region. By working in partnership with local communities to implement sustainable and regenerative projects, they aim to achieve these goals and make an impact that expands outside of Scotland.

The funds donated to the HIEF will contribute to environmental projects such as:

Conserving woodland, marine ecosystems, and coastal habitats around the Scottish Highlands and Islands

Reintroducing 20,000 oysters into the Lochaline shoreline to help regenerate the local marine ecosystem

Funding the provision of birdboxes to 175 primary schools all around the Highlands, with the additional aim to inspire the next generation of environmental ambassadors

Brora Supporting HIEF

Due to our own ties with Scotland, the HIEF and these incredible projects seemed particularly poignant and near and dear to us here at Brora. We felt that it was imperative to give back to this beautiful region that is also so close to home.
