All of Brora’s clothing is designed in the UK. We create designs that can be worn with pride for many years to come, made from the very best fabrics and yarns. This is combined with an abundance of thoughtful design details that set us apart from the rest. Many of these stunning details are created by craftspeople and artisans who are experts in their field, with skills being handed down from generation to generation, such as embroidery, beading and tailoring.
We’ve made our Scottish cashmere in the same mill since our inception in 1993. Here, skills are passed down through each generation and many of the processes to make Brora cashmere are done by hand. Every cashmere piece is a celebration of craftmanship.
From carefully selecting the colours in our Fair Isle knitwear to the stunning pintucks and embroidery in our cotton blouses, details are what set Brora apart and many are added to ensure quality is nothing but the best.

One of our founding principles is using and promoting natural fibres like Scottish cashmere, now fast forward 33 years and we have slowly evolved to include merino wool, lambswool, organic cotton and linen to make Brora clothing, and ensuring the use of man-made materials is kept to an utter minimum.
